Buddy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, Red McCombs School of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. He holds the designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which he earned in Texas.

Buddy's professional experience includes two years with a Big Four national accounting firm, KPMG, five years as Controller/ Treasurer for two major homebuilders, two years teaching accounting and serving as Chairman of the Accounting Department for Lone Star College, Houston, Texas, and the last forty-seven years as owner of Schorre & Associates, LLC. Buddy has served as Treasurer for the Greater Houston Homebuilders’ Association for two terms, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Buddy also served as the Treasurer of the Houston Area Road Runners Association and served three years as a member of the Houstonian Club Advisory Board.

Buddy’s practice provides services in the areas of assurance, taxation, tax research, IRS representation, QuickBooks consultation and eldercare management services.

Buddy is married to Beth McKim, who makes him laugh when he is too serious. He is the father of two sons, Jonas married to Jennifer and Jake married to Audrey, and grandfather of five grandchildren, Alexandra, Madelyn, Brooklyn, Chase, and Ava. Not to forget his wonderful Labradoodles, Lucy and Jessie, who brighten everyone’s day. Buddy appreciates the influence that daily physical exercise has on his personal and professional life and has participated in various types of personal fitness activities throughout his life, which includes many triathlons and fifty-four marathons.

Rosanne graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting.

Rosanne worked for Ernst & Young from 1982-1987. After achieving the position of Audit Manager and the birth of her first child, she spent the next ten years working for a publicly-traded company in the service industry. Her positions there primarily involved special projects in the Accounting and Treasury Departments. Rosanne then left the corporate world in order to spend more time at home with her family.

More recently, Rosanne began working on a contract basis in accounting roles for various small businesses. In 2015, she joined the Audit department of Schorre & Associates as an Audit Manager.

Rosanne enjoys spending time with her family and pets and is a needlepoint enthusiast.

Laura holds a BBA in Finance from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and a Masters in Accounting from University North Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina. She earned her CPA license from the State of North Carolina, and transferred her license to Texas in 2020.

Laura has Big Four firm experience as a Staff and Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche. She has also worked as the Controller of a publicly-traded company and as a consultant performing special projects, financial reporting, and other compliance work for a Charlotte, North Carolina consulting firm.

Laura is an Audit Manager for Schorre and Associates.

Laura is married to Brian and together they have two children, Jack and Addison. She enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Charlotte holds a BS in Accounting from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. She earned her CPA in Texas. Charlotte has six years experience as Tax Specialist for a real estate developer, American General Investment Company. She has worked for twenty-two years in public accounting and thirteen years as CFO/Controller of a national architectural firm, Page Southerland Page. She is currently a Tax Specialist for Schorre and Associates. Charlotte enjoys quilting, playing bridge, traveling with her husband, Jay, and spending time with her adult children Alane, Leanne, and Keith and their spouses and her four grandchildren.

Karen graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in accounting. She became a CPA in Texas in 1978 and has worked in public accounting since that time. Karen was the tax partner in a San Antonio public accounting firm for 20 years. She and her husband Danny have made Houston their home since 2006.Karen’s area of interest is tax compliance, preparation and tax and estate planning.

Karen has had the privilege of being on the Board of Directors for a variety of nonprofit organizations, all with an emphasis on the well-being of children. She is currently a volunteer for The Blue Bird Circle in Houston.

Karen can be found almost every morning in the gym, exercising her commitment to physical fitness. She and Danny (also a CPA), enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and traveling to Galveston most weekends.

Aimee graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in Media Production.

She joined Schorre & Associates as a bookkeeper in 2023. She plans to continue her education with accounting classes at HCC to improve her knowledge on the subject.

Aimee enjoys roller-skating, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends. She also has a passion for escape rooms and hopes to open one of her own in the future.

As Office Manager, Vicki is responsible for ensuring that the office operates smoothly and efficiently, while greeting the clients and maintaining a friendly and helpful environment. Schorre & Associates promotes customer service as the number one priority. She handles a variety of duties and supports the team as needed for a more productive workflow which ultimately benefits the clients.

Alexandra assists with administrative support for Schorre & Associates.

Alex was born in Brooklyn, NYC and is now a rising senior at Ridge Point High School. She is studying media production, video editing and cinematography. Alex is part of the broadcast ministry at South Main Baptist Church and is a Fort Bend ISD award-winning short filmmaker. She enjoys taking photos, watching movies and spending time with friends, family and her dog Sam.

Beth handles public relations, marketing, and administrative support for Schorre and Associates. Beth graduated with a B.A. from the University of Houston. She is a training specialist, actress, and published writer of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Married to Buddy Schorre, Beth enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her grandkids. In her spare time, she studies creative writing, acting, and Spanish. Beth is a former marathon runner, triathlete, and now enjoys practicing yoga, swimming, and weight workouts.

Wade graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, Red McCombs School of Business, earning an MBA with a dual major in Finance and International Economics. Wade also received a BBA in Accounting from the McCombs School of Business. Wade received his Juris Doctorate from Concord School of Law in Los Angeles, California. He is licensed by the State of Texas to practice as a Certified Public Accountant.

Wade has international and domestic work experience with entities in the construction, power development, banking, and mortgage industries. Wade’s responsibility has centered in the areas of finance and taxation for the companies with which he has been associated.

Wade had his own firm for ten years offering tax and management advisory services to clients. The firm provided tax work for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and tax-exempt entities.

Wade is currently a Tax Manager for Schorre & Associates, LLC.

Wade is married to Patricia (Patti) Newton Miller. Patti and Wade have three exceptional children – Patrick, Richard, and Katherine. The family enjoys spending time together trying out new eating establishments, exploring new places, and enjoying various outdoor pursuits.

Bernice graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, Red McCombs School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Masters in Professional Accounting (MPA). She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Texas.

Bernice's experience includes two years with BKD, LLP, a national CPA and advisory firm. She joined Schorre & Associates, LLC in 2010 and is a Tax Manager specializing in tax return preparation and financial reporting. She is proficient in QuickBooks and provides ongoing accounting services such as HOA account management, tax planning, and bookkeeping.

Bernice enjoys working out, trying new foods and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Lili Rubin, originally from Russia, has an MBA from Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota in Accounting. Lived in Canada for 18 years where she earned Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. She worked as an Assistant Controller of Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta and as a Controller at Triton/Calypso Inc in Calgary as well. Since 2012, she has been residing in Houston and providing contract accounts services to various CPA firms.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting. She is currently working towards obtaining her CPA license.

Jennifer joined Schorre & Associates, LLC in 2010 and is a Senior Tax Accountant who specializes in tax return preparation, financial reporting, and payroll. She is proficient in both QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online and provides ongoing accounting services such as tax planning, and bookkeeping.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and children being outdoors and spending quality time together.

Julie Wade, CPA joined Schorre & Associates in 2023 as an accountant working in different accounting capacities for the firm. Julie has worked in both public accounting and private practice. Her experience is predominantly in the manufacturing and service industries. Julie currently enjoys working with clients in the small and middle market sector.

Graduating from the University of Texas with both a BBA in Accounting and a Master’s in Professional Accounting, Julie started her accounting career with Arthur Andersen, working in the energy division. Her clients included well known oil and gas companies. Julie then joined a middle market accounting firm where she worked from staff through Senior Manager level. Julie left public accounting to pursue a career as a Corporate Controller for a few years before finding her way back to public accounting and servicing clients.

In addition to her accounting work, Julie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and small children. Her spare time is consumed with baseball and softball when the kids are not in school.

Michael assists in public relations, marketing, and administrative support for Schorre & Associates. He also assists the Audit Department with the production of each report, whether it be a Financial Statement, Compilation, Review, or Audit report. He provides IT support for the office and each employee whether in the office or remote.

He schooled overseas in Saudi Arabia for five years under Aramco. Michael attended UH main campus for a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He enjoys playing piano, guitar, harmonica, and spending time with family and friends.
